5 Active and Fun Date Ideas in Atlanta, GA
Here are 5 super easy and fun date ideas for people living in Atlanta, GA.
1. Ping Pong at Victory in Inman Park or Painted Pin in Buckhead
Why not challenge your date to a playful date of ping pong? Victory has two locations (one in Decatur and one in Inman Park), and the one in Inman Park has a cool, chill vibe.
Victory in Inman Park one ping pong table, but they also sell delicious rum and coke slushies and spicy small sandwiches. Get some food, grab a drink, and challenge your date to a game of ping pong. If the date is going well, walk along the Beltline or grab another drink at another date spot in the neighborhood like Barcelona, Pure Taqueria, or Bartaco.
Painted Pin off of Miami Circle in Buckhead also has two ping pong tables (hidden in the back). Painted Pin has life-sized Jenga, bocce ball, bowling, and skee-ball. If you want to go bowling, make a reservation if you can – as the place fills up quickly.
2. Puttshack in West Midtown
Make reservations to do putt putt at Puttshack in West Midtown (it’s new!) and then grab tacos at Velvet Taco or ice cream at Jenny’s.
3. Painted Duck in West Midtown
Painted Duck in West Midtown has miniature bowling pins (a unique bowling experience!) as well as an awesome bar with delicious food and drinks.
Grab a drink with your date, and then play shuffleboard, feather bowling, or air hockey.
4. Top Golf in West Midtown
Girls may not love golf, but they do love Topgolf! Topgolf has a high-tech driving range with fun targets to aim for. Even if your date sucks at golf, she will still have a ton of fun.
Plus, what better excuse to get physically close to your date, than by helping her with her swing?
Make sure to order food and drinks when you get assigned to your bay. Otherwise, you run the risk of looking cheap. Plus, it gives you the chance to sit on the couch with your date and just talk, drink, and eat when you want a break from golfing.
5. Clue Town Scavenger Hunt
If your date is cute and not too stuff, she may love doing a Clue Town scavenger hunt with you. Clue Town sells books with miniature puzzle hunts. Yes – they are a bit silly (and great for families with kids), but they also make a great date idea.
The Clue Town Scavenger Hunt along the Beltline is great.
Make sure to buy the Clue Town Book prior to the date, and then grab a drink or food with your date after the scavenger hunt to celebrate your success in completing it!
